OptaSense Wins FOSA Innovation Award for Development of Static Strain and Temperature Sensing in a Rayleigh Backscatter-based System

OptaSense, a Luna Innovations company, was recently award the FOSA Innovation Award by the Fiber Optic Sensing Association. The award was presented based on the development of static stain and temperature sensing in a Rayleigh backscatter-based system. The novel approach was validated through a project that focused on a year of work with the British Geological Survey (BGS) at te Hollin Hill National Landslide Laboratory in the UK.
